I'm trying to live my dream of becoming 75% self-sufficient in terms of food production. Sometimes it's a little rough, because I'm disabled and can't work a regular job, so money is sometimes tight. With a little help from people who appreciate the content I offer, I can spend less time worrying about the day to day and more time writing about it!

All Patrons receive 20% off on fiber and textiles over at http://manorofmixedblessings.com/shop and get special rates on spinning and weaving commissions.

This pays for grain for the sheep and goats for one day!

At this level, if you have questions about the farm or the animals, I'll answer them publicly on the blog!

This pays for all concentrated food (grain or pellets) for a day: rabbits, poultry, goats, and sheep.

All previous rewards, plus see baby animals first! When new residents hatch or are born, you'll get the first look at their pictures and we'll talk about what makes each one a valuable addition to the Manor of Mixed Blessings.

This is the monthly cost of my Rare Breeds Survival Trust membership that allows to me register my Soay sheep in the Open Flock Book. Registering them ensures their genetics aren't lost and helps maintain an accurate breed census.

This buys a 50lb bag of grain, about a week's worth.

All previous rewards, plus submit names for new babies and breeding stock! When I need a name for an animal, I'll provide a pic and info about its personality. Y'all will provide names, and either I'll draw one from a hat or film the goats picking a name from a bucket.
Goals
$895 of $900 per month
Infrastructure upgrades! This would let me comfortably replace a roll of old electro-net fencing per month with newer netting that's safer for my little sheep. Once that's done, I can start sinking permanent fence posts around the perimeter of my property and then hanging actual permanent sheep fencing. The electronet could then be used solely for temporary cross-fencing, as intended.
