🙋Hi!

I'm Mariatta. I work as a software engineer in Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦. I'm a co-organizer of Vancouver PyLadies and PyCascades conference.

I'm a Python Core Developer. I contribute to Python documentation, Python Developer's Guide, Python core workflow, and Python.org. I contribute to and help maintain Core Python's GitHub bots: bedevere and miss-islington.

I'm a maintainer of coala. I serve as coala's Code of Conduct committee member.

Things I made that are on PyPI

Other not very notable personal open source projects

Other appearances
  • Sometimes I give talks at meetups and conferences.
  • PyDev of the Week interview, September 25, 2017.
  • Castalio Podcast interview, August 21, 2017.
  • New Python Core Developer proposal, January 27, 2017.
  • Several movies have my name at the end credit, if you wait long enough for it to appear... 😜
  • I had the honor of writing the foreword to Dan Bader's book, Python Tricks: A Buffet of Awesome Python Features. You can buy the book from Amazon.

You can just paypal.me if you want to. Or send me Happiness Packets. That'll make me happy.

I have a website. I've been thinking to blog more, if only I can find the time.
