Tiers
Epheboi
Young warriors not yet initiated in the art of battle but training hard to be ready when the time comes.
Reward: You'll get high resolution renders of the art created for the Heroes of Bronze project.
Psiloi
A bit of stone throwing action here, a bit of javelin work there, light-armed Psiloi helped the ancient Greek phalanx in any way they could. Often times, it was their harassing of the enemy that actually helped win the battle for the heavier armed warriors.
Rewards: You'll get high-resolution renders of Heroes of Bronze artwork along with essential project files for the Youtube tutorials.
Hypaspist
Light-armed warriors, usually servants to more experience and older soldiers, they carried a heavy shield for their master, as well as the master's belongings. If this older warrior fell, it was the role of his Hypaspist to get him off the battlefield, or sometimes take up his arms and continue the fight.
Rewards: All the benefits from the Tiers above + exclusive Patreon videos + you'll be able to vote in the tutorial Polls
Hoplite
The backbone of the ancient Greek army. Heavily armored warriors carrying a massive round shield called Aspis, heavy bronze cuirass or leather Thorax, eight feet long spear Doru and variety of swords or knives. Together they formed an impenetrable unit called Phalanx - bristling with spears, a formidable wall of bronze.
At the Hoplite Tier, you are the backbone. You make it all possible.
