TEMPORARY GOAL: Special Japan Tour Video
$300 per video
This goal is temporary and will be removed in a few months. I'm headed to Japan in September, and have plans to visit some exciting locations where many cool things have been filmed for popular Japanese television and movies.  A little extra will help make the filming and discussion of certain locations possible, specifically outside of Tokyo.  Learn about some of your favorite locations from Japanese super hero shows, and let me show you where they are and how to get there if you ever want to go on this kind of pilgrimage yourself!
This is my Job
$800 per video
If we reach this much, I can pay off a few hounding debts and then finally work on giving all of you content that I can be proud of on a regular basis.  I can dedicate my time to the things I love and to you, the people I love.  I hope I get to spend more time with you soon.

My name is Kaylyn Dicksion, better known online as MarzGurl of MarzGurl Productions and That Guy With The Glasses.  I'm currently best known for my online reviews of animated media (such as my Don Bluth and Ralph Bakshi retrospectives), as well as hosting my weekly web show Beyond the Black Rims with my co-host JoshKnightTheFirst.  Other things I've been known for have been my previous involvement as anime convention videographer and video game streamer and enthusiast.  Oh, and I was so very nearly cast on season 2 of King of the Nerds that one time.  It got me in a commercial on TBS and everything.  That was pretty cool...

Producing videos once was my full-time job, but lingering advertising revenue and major life changes seriously changed how frequently I was able to produce content.  That's when going back to the daily 9 - 5 grind happened, and it pulled me away from making videos for you, which is what I'd much rather be doing.  My ultimate goal by working through Patreon is both to make this my full time job again and to increase production value.  Far too long have you viewers suffered at the hands of sub-par video material.  You're sick of it, and I am, too.

I want to work together with you, to show you that for as much appreciation and kindness as I've been shown over the years, that I can give something back to you in the form of good content and attention paid to those who communicate with me through my social networks.  I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and give you the content you've been asking for and have deserved all of these years.  I thank you genuinely and I look forward to spending more time with all of you very soon.
