Every school day I wake up, read the paper, and write a math question involving the day's news. These questions are perfect for in-class warmups, discussions, projects- anything a teacher could want. They are authentic, cross-curricular, engaging questions that allow students to see purpose beyond the algorithms.

Your donations help support this project for me. Thank you for contributing.
Tiers
The Good
$1 or more per month
Congratulations! You have contributed to a better educated society. You can subscribe to @MathInTheNews on Twitter just like everyone else, but with a smidgen of pride. Not bad. Some might even say Good.
The Greater Good
$3 or more per month
Let's be clear: you are twice as good a person as those first-tier people, and they're not bad. Mathematically speaking, though, we all know 3 > 1.
Pledge $3/month, and I'll email you each day's question. No need to hunt down Twitter to get your daily MitN fix- it's right there waiting for you.
The Greatest Good
$7 or more per month
Anybody can get questions. Only the best get answers. Pledge $7/month, and I will not only email you daily math problems, but I'll also respond when you ask for an answer. Limit 3 answers per month.
Life, the Universe, and Everything
$42 or more per month
You want answers? Alright, Tom Cruise. For $42/month I'll send you every answer, every day.
