For $2 a month, you will have access to a monthly tutorial video where I will demonstrate a technique that I use within my practice.
You will also have access to competitions where I will give away special / limited edition prints.
Thank you, this is worth a roll of film that I didn't have before!
For $5 you will have access to my monthly tutorial video where I demonstrate one of the processes that I use within my practice.
You will also have access to my blog, which shares details of my residencies, exhibitions and projects in progress.
I am an artist from Manchester, now living in Kent. I am a multi-disciplinary artist, mainly working with photography, printmaking and installation. Over the past few years, I have created many projects in relation to astronomy and quantum physics. I am currently studying towards an (unfunded) practice-based PhD at the Royal College of Art.
I am joining Patreon with the aim of sustainably supporting my practice. In the next couple of months, I aim to set up my own studio and will need to fund equipment such as an enlarger, a telescope, a UV exposure unit and materials. Patreon support will also allow me to access things like video editing software that I would not usually be able to afford.
I will use Patreon funding to travel to exhibitions and residencies, using no-fly methods where possible. Travelling by rail or sea can be more expensive than flying, so Patreon will allow me to travel more sustainably.
In return for supporting my Patreon, I aim to create regular online/video tutorials, as well as video diaries and blog posts from residencies and exhibitions. I will offer regular rewards for certain tiers, such as postcards and limited edition prints.
In the next year, I will be working on a solo exhibition (due November 2020), residencies abroad and a number of group exhibitions internationally.
