Commission illustrations
Every month that brings in $500, I will commission an original illustration for one of that month's stories, and post it on all my sites for everybody to see when it is done (should normally be finished during the following month).

I write tiny little science fiction and fantasy stories, no longer than 140 characters, and post them on Twitter. Since I started doing this in April 2013, I have written and tweeted over a thousand little stories, with an average rate of nine per week. These stories are also mirrored on my Facebook, Tumblr, and Google+ pages, so you can follow on your favourite social network. (I will only post the most popular here, and not as immediately as on those other sites. The posts here are more of a sampler.)
Sometimes, I write longer stories - like The Infinity Library - which are posted to Tumblr. And in December, I write a story of 25 daily episodes (the 2013 one is here, and the 2014 one is here) counting up to Christmas.
To be honest, I expect I will keep doing this regardless of whether anyone supports me or not, but it would be nice to have some extra money for coffee, and the odd piece of chocolate. More importantly, it would be great if I could get the occasional story illustrated.
