Miscellanea Tabletop Battlemaps

Good Morning!

My name's Miscellanea, and I draw battlemaps for fantasy role-playing games. These are primarily intended for VTTs like Foundry Virtual Tabletop or Roll20, to aid in visualization and tactical setups. It's a hobby of sorts, and I figured I could use it to help pay for my education, so here I am.

Four Maps a Month

Every month, I create four maps based around a theme voted on by my subscribers and publish them here. When you sign up, you'll get night versions, extra variants, token packs, and other things, increasing based on the tier you've chosen! Each successive tier grants access to the content listed under it, as well as the content from all prior tiers. You'll also gain access to my entire existing library containing all of my previous battlemaps and other work.

My subscribers are only charged at the end of the month, and you can cancel at any time. I'm really thankful for everyone who's helped me develop this skill and push my abilities, and perhaps today, that can include you, too!

How do I use the maps?

All of my maps are drawn and provided at a default scale of 100x100 pixels per square/inch, and are always in multiples of 100 pixels. Assets are provided at the same scale.

For VTTs, download the appropriate archive, extract it, and locate the file you want. After that, you can upload it like any other image to Foundry VTT, or Roll20, or whatever virtual tabletop program you use.  A public map archive documenting every map I've drawn from May 2020 to now can be found by following this link!

For printing, all of my maps are provided in JPG format. If you know how to print an image file, it's as simple as doing that. My maps are usually large and in odd ratios, though, so you might need a lot of paper or ink - just a heads up! The grayscale map edits are explicitly designed to be cheaper to print, though, so try those out.

Licensing & Commissions

Please do not publicly distribute (or sell) the patron-exclusive map files, raw .kra files, tokens, or any other associated element. They're intended for personal use only. Maps released for free are free for personal use and sharing online through free platforms, but are not intended for commercial purposes. Similarly, if you're interested in commercial licensing, please contact me directly. Benefactor-tier patrons have a license to use my work for commercial purposes, provided approval is obtained. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.
