About

I am a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Performer, Accordionist and Art Model...
I am a Canadian multi-disciplinary artist known for my variety of musical work within theater, musical ensembles, experimental performances, and for bridging the gap between electronic pop music and the accordion with my dreamy, dark, romantic "electro-accordion chanteuse" sultry vocal and songwriting style. .

By being my patron you will have the chance to receive:
  • Access to my weekly Patreon *blog: Read about my journey and see my work-in-progress and behind-the-scenes action, + photo shoots not posted on social media! (*As many may know, I used to keep a blog "Saving the world with the accordion" and had to quit it for various reasons. This new Patreon blog will be picking up where I left off with that!)
  • My eternal gratitude

I am looking for your patronage and support with my musical career through donations for the costs of new recording gear, performance gear, hardware and software, mixing & mastering, rehearsal space, costuming, promo photos, videography, editing, and publicity.

Supporting independent artists means you are helping shape culture and the society we live in. Artists and their artwork of all kinds is important because it inspires our moods, brightens our days, makes up the landscape for our lives, and marks our place in history.

Be a part of my progress! Support me - Miss Natasha Enquist - so I can create new music!

A little bit more about me:
I grew on Vancouver Island, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and had studied classical piano as a child, but my first career was in fashion design with a post-secondary education in History of Art. Music reappeared in my life in my 20's and the accordion and music took over my life. I have had a versatile career with performing in the Canadian cabaret comedy troupe Atomic Vaudeville, international music, dance and theatre festivals all over Europe and the Pacific Northwest, I created and lead a 12-member Balkan-style marching band before moving to Orlando, Florida for a performance contract with Walt Disney World, to then moving over to Europe and performing at the historic Wintergarten Theater in Berlin, Germany, working with alcohol brands Heineken, Hendrick's Gin, Tito's Vodka and Tom of Finland Vodka, and launching my own record label, MNE Records and recording my debut album, "MNE", in Berlin with Kollo Agency and was partially funded by my Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign for it. I released the single EP's "Summer Bird EP" and "Weltgeist EP" prior to the full release of the album in August 2016, and then produced my record release concert in October 2016, and continue to develop and perform pieces from that production - incorporating projected visuals into the narrative of my music.

I have had 4 of my original songs from my "MNE" album featured in the Berlin-based short film “The Birthday”, which has debuted at over 20 international film festivals, and had my single "Vanishing Memories" used for the fashion collection video "The Secret Liberation of Clothes" by the fashion label Substantielles Minimum. I have produced two music videos, which are now streaming on MTV Germany, MTV Switzerland, MTV Netherlands, and VIVA TV's websites and I continue to do both vocal and accordion recording session work as well as collaborations with Berlin-based and Toronto-based studios. I have performed with Canadian Children's Entertainer, Mr. Fred Penner, shared the stage with Karl Bartos (Kraftwerk), Chicks on Speed, Hidden Cameras, and Geoff Berner, have had sponsorship from MOD Devices and Butcherei Lindinger

I identify as an Androgynous-Femme/ Genderqueer Feminist, and this identity and fundamental outlook effects how I live my life and where I fit with my career, and my time living in Berlin had given me the opportunity to explore myself and artist-self further.
I have had the pleasure of performing for the leather & fetish community -where I feel the most at home- at Folsom Europe, parties at both Insomnia and KitKat Club, Male.Space's Testosterone party, Darklands - Antwerp's Leather & Fetish Pride Festival, with a close relationship with Boner Magazine and the Tom of Finland Foundation. In addition, I have work with some very talented photographers and visual artists as an art model and muse - which allows me to explore body-positivity and play with gender stereotypes.
