Since you somehow stumbled onto my account I thought I’d at least give you something to read here. My name is Aimee. I’m married, have two teenage children, a black pug named Winston and have been a registered nurse since 2008. I have fallen out of love with nursing and am currently unemployed. Financially, unemployment isn’t necessarily problematic, more inconvenient than anything else. I’ve just gotten very good at living on a tight budget.

I asked for and was gifted a sewing machine for Christmas 2018 and have been learning to sew via trial and error, and YouTube tutorials. The cover image on this page is of the first item I made. It’s far from perfect, (as are all of my creations) but I love it. My goal is to make enough creations to open and stock an Etsy shop and hopefully sell enough to have a little extra income. Starting out is tough however, especially on a tiny budget. Quality notions and fabrics are seriously expensive. I thought this might be a way to raise money for the supplies I need to make items to sell in my shop. You have to spend money to make money right? My family is just on a tight budget and I don’t have much money to spend right now.
