For less than what you pay for lunch everyday, this suggested amount goes directly towards my time and efforts to continuously work on Muay Ying
Patrons of this amount will be able to enter raffles and drawings with 1 ticket
Supporting Behind the Scenes
This amount helps me not only continue my efforts on Muay Ying but will help travel to fights in Bangkok. Being present at the fights and getting backstage content is much more valuable and adds color rather than if I just watched the fight on YouTube.
Patrons of this amount will be able to enter raffles and drawings with 2 tickets

Muay Thai for everyone

Muay Ying was started in 2016 by me, professional Muay Thai fighter Angela Chang, as a way to deliver news on both female and male fighters. Many Muay Thai news outlets disproportionately focus on only male fight news while completely disregarding the female fighters. I've been living in Thailand for the past 3.5 years, training full time and fighting, so I've seen and experienced a lot many are NOT writing about. Muay Ying is not about me - it is about giving unbiased information (news, articles, videos) as well as knowledge of the experience (I will have some posts from my own POV, interviews with other fighters, etc.)
I stopped working on this about a year ago because I had to focus on other things that would make me money as I continue my journey here, fighting in Thailand. It's not an easy life I've chosen for myself, and with financial struggles, I got behind on running Muay Ying even though I was (and still am) really passionate about the cause behind it. However, I really want to continue working on this to fulfill my promise to bring you guys valuable, high quality content on ALL Muay Thai fighters.
Current plans: continue blogging, delivering everyone fight news and interviews. I will also give valuable insight into Muay Thai in the motherland, information you might not find anywhere else due to my location, as well as my own personal experiences here in Thailand.
Within 3-4 months, I would like to add in: videos and Podcasts, allowing my content to be not just text based but also with audio and video elements and options to enjoy the content in your favorite format, live stream Q&A, streams of fights
Longer term, I would like to add in: Patreon-exclusive content
Eventually: I would like to be financially capable of staying at different gyms for a week, training there and getting a good feel of the gym and write reviews on that. I would also like Muay Ying to be a way for people to connect to fighters so they can get fights more easily.
If you find what I do currently and can offer valuable, you have the option to support the content and my journey via Patreon.
Any amount is appreciated.
I will soon add in tiers where monthly donors of X amount will receive a pair of shorts, donors of another amount will receive something else. But don't worry, this will be retroactive once I have figured out what is suitable for my patrons!
