Milestone Goals
More Beginner Time
$250 per month
If we can reach $250 per month, I will commit the time to increase my beginner video output to at least 1 per month.
More Intermediate Time
$500 per month
If we can reach $500 per month, I will commit the time to increase my intermediate video output to at least 1 per month (along with the beginner videos).
Release 1 New mp3 Accompaniment per Month
$1,000 per month
If I can reach a $1000 per month tier, I will release at least 1 new digital piano or chamber music accompaniment per month. That means I will enter and tweak the piano or chamber music accompaniment and release the Sibelius file and mp3 (or whatever formats you request) to be used to practice or perform with.  All rights released for performance and recording use.
Consider quitting my public school job.
$5,000 per month
As I near a $5000 a month tier, I will privately discuss with my patrons what direction I should take, what needs they have per my work here and forward and consider quitting my public school teaching job.  I will be as transparent as possible for my patrons (while protecting my family's privacy) as I move to a dedicated career here.  This is when it gets real!
My wife quits her job and joins Patreon as a freelance Artist.
$10,000 per month
As we near a $10,000 a month tier, my wife and I will privately discuss with my leading patrons her quitting her public school teaching position and beginning her dream to commit to illustrating children's books (and other freelance Art work) full-time.  Stacy currently has illustrated five children's books and is working to begin work on three more in her summers and spare time.
Dedicate my career to creating a free music lesson library.
$20,000 per month
At $20,000 per month, I will dedicate my remaining career to recruiting other professionals to commit to growing the free music lesson library for instruments, voice and other genre.  I am 46 and love teaching and performing music.  I cannot imagine a retirement age yet.

Thank you so much for checking out my Patreon adventure!  The most important people in my life are my awesome wife Stacy and my 2-year-old son Camden (old picture there).

I want to provide the best for them and I would love to do it while doing what I do best: teaching and playing my clarinet.  Will you help me do that?

Professionally, I am an elementary music teacher and clarinetist.  I've played and taught clarinet professionally for over 20 years. I have taught in private and public schools at every level from elementary to undergraduate college.  I completed my coursework for my doctorate in clarinet performance before entering the United States Army in 2003.  I have sat principal clarinet of orchestras and performed as soloist with bands and orchestras.  My full bio can be seen in my upcoming book release soon on Amazon.

My "big picture" goal here is to create a free digital library of music lessons and accompaniments so everyone, even the kid in the small town with no band program, can learn and make music a part of their life.  What I will produce is relevant, quality instruction that includes professional, relevant clarinet performance.  As I research what is already out there, I see a lot of people trying to help but providing incomplete and sometimes simply wrong information.  I also see the superstars with their pay to learn sites and professional productions.  Problem there is most cannot afford it and they  (the Superstars) often really do not understand how  to teach.  Their teaching relies on their awesome performance abilities and, "trust me kid...I know what I'm doing."  Just look for yourself!  Compare my first few lessons with what is out there.

I would love to do this full-time, coordinating a larger effort to create a complete, relevant and free music lesson and accompaniment library for the world to learn music.  Will you help me get there?
