My name is Daniel, and I was born in 1985. I've gone by the nickname Ninjy online for the past 20 or so years. Around early 2017 I started becoming very appreciative of the hard work, skill, and experience that goes into creating the props and costumes cosplayers show off. By mid 2017 I started watching Youtube videos with information on making these things, and by late 2017 I decided that I wanted to try these things myself. I also want to write about my experiences. I've owned the Ninjy.com domain for a very long time, but have never really done anything with it, and so I started the NinjyProps website on Ninjy.com to satisfy my desire to write about this journey.

Others have done similar things, but for better or worse, I'm a bit of a unique edge-case. I'm not only autistic, I have a wide array of physical and mental issues, including joint paints, back pains, near-chronic headaches, and more. My mother and I share a house, and we both help eachother in our daily lives as she has her own set of issues, different from my own but equally disabling. Consequently, neither of us has a job, and we're both on disability. Since we share a house, my mom's disability income is cut by about half. So we're two disabled people living off very little, which makes trying to afford tools and materials quite a challenge. I've decided to open this Patreon page so that people who like my work have a way to support me, to allow me to continue to be able to learn new skills, and share what I learn.

So what is it that you can expect from me?  Supporting me will primarily allow me to continue to buy tools and materials.  Despite the humourous tier names suggesting otherwise, all money will go exclusively to tools and materials.  Those tools and materials will allow me to continue to try to learn learn new skills.  Those skills will allow me to continue to make new things.  Everything I make will be blogged about on Ninjy.com with in-depth details and more photos than you can shake a selfie stick at.
