This will help with the basic fees that go into making the podcast as is. I will also be able to put the podcast up on Soundcloud for those who want it there.
A BRAND NEW Microphone
That's right, a new microphone will mean that I can stop pinning a clip on mic to the guest's shirts and pick up every little rustle they make in their seats as they squirm to give up truths and wisdoms.
An Audio Mixer
Want more than one guest on at a time? A cohost? How about Skype Calls? All of these things need an audio mixer so we can have more audio inputs. Science!
Video Podcast
This will allow me to bring on an editor to help create a video component to the podcast. Oooooooh fancy!
Live Podcast Shows!
Want to see Now What Did We Learn in person? Why not! If I can raise $1000 per podcast episode I can start to piece together a live show that might be able to tour around the country.
Now What Did We Learn EXTREME
Like podcasts like RadioLab or This American Life, we'd be able to take an in depth look at a person's life, interviewing friends, family members, and co-workers to put together an in depth look at who someone is and other's perceptions of them. These would be released once a month as they'd be well produced and extravagant.
