About One Good Scare Productions
One Good Scare is the brainchild of former pro wrestling personality "Rev." Dan Wilson. Dan is best known to fans as the TV announcer for NWA Wildside wrestling where he coined the nickname "Phenomenal One" for WWE Superstar and multi time champion A.J. Styles, as well as coached and mentored many of the popular WWE stars of today. He went on to become an on screen villain and created the Satanic Cult Leader "Reverend" character where he terrified fans all over the country, managing a group called "The Devil's Rejects", and injecting several horror elements into the world of pro wrestling. He also hosted the successful "Midnight Black Mass" podcast for over a decade where he interviewed stars such as Phil Anselmo, Hank Williams III, Unknown Hinson and many more. He later worked behind the scenes in pro wrestling, writing, producing and directing live events and televised broadcasts including live PPV events on FITE TV. In 2018, he retired from the Squared Circle to give more of his free time to pursuing another life long dream, making a horror film. As part of that self education, Dan was finding that he was researching films meticulously to try and learn from them and having already been a successful podcast host, decided to turn that research into something he could share with the world and the Seeking Human Victims podcast was born. He also realized that dream of making a horror film with One Good Scare Production's first short film SANCTUARY (2018) - Available on our Youtube Channel. The creative fulfillment Dan has gotten producing horror content has been unparalleled and so this is where he's decided to stay, continuing the Seeking Human Victims podcast (which he hosts with his sassy, intelligent and gorgeous wife Anni Wilson, and his best friends Muji, Griz and Todd Johnston, who also work on all of our other projects.), learning as much as he can about film making and the horror genre, and continuing to come up with new video content and horror shorts for One Good Scare.
