Oceanoxia is a blog about climate change. In it, I discuss climate science, climate change politics, climate action, and things about our society that we might be able to change, to avoid creating problems like this in the future.
Tiers
Tier the First
$1 or more per month
Patrons giving $1 per month get access to my patrons-only feed.
Tier the Second
$5 or more per month
Patrons giving $5 per month get everything Tier One gets, plus access to my followup research on each book review post. This will primarily be updates on predictions for the pace of climate change and its impacts, and other similar notes on how the book holds up in light of what has happened in the time since it was written.

There will be three of these science updates per week, but not always on the same day that the public review is published.
Tier the Third
$10 or more per month
Patrons giving $10 per month get everything lower tiers get, plus the right to ask questions and/or make requests.
Tier the Fourth
$25 or more per month
Patrons giving $25 per month get everything lower tiers get, plus a customized drawing by me, mailed right to you in an old-timey envelope with a wax seal. Drawing quality not guaranteed.
The Tier That Comes With Personalized Music
$100 or more per month
Patrons giving $100 per month get everything lower tiers get, plus an annual recording of my wife and I, and possibly other people, singing a birthday-related song for you accompanied by her accordion.
Goals
0% complete
If/when this level is reached, I'll be able to start an online science fiction lit mag that will pay people for stories that fit the general theme and goals of the blog.

I've set the cost for this pretty high because it's important to me to do this right, and that means paying well for people's creative work, and hiring people to help choose stories for publication.

If my circumstances change such that I'm able to get started with this before we hit the goal, then I'll do so, and lower the goal appropriately.
