Mark Winkle As usual, I love your playing. I am excited for your original album venture as well. You have such a great musical range. It is a pleasure to support someone as talented as you are. It is money well spent.

Josh Powell I like the idea of Over the Rainbow (I was thinking the Iz version; not sure which one you were thinking, though). I suppose which song you want to choose would depend on whether you want to reach to your current fanbase or try to expand to other genres. I'm not familiar with your stats on sales and views, so I don't know which one would make more sense from a business perspective (nobody will fault you for picking the most profitable genre; in fact I'd encourage it!). Personally, I'm a fan of your originals, but it's always refreshing to hear a tune from a classic video game, even if it's one I didn't really play much. Considering that most of your fanbase (I assume) comes from the video game side, I would think you could never go wrong with a classic game song. On the flip side, there are always modern game songs that are likely to be more recognizable among today's youth. Again, I don't know your stats so I couldn't advise on classic vs modern. Because you asked for some specifics: anything from Megaman (6 and X are my favorites, musically), anything from Zelda that you haven't done before, Fear Not This Night (Guild Wars 2).... and that's all the thinking my brain is willing to do XD P.S. Sadness! I have to miss your LA show even though it's within a few hours driving distance =(. Good luck and have a great show! Someday I'll make it to one!

Julio First of all, your Original album is a MUST project you have to achieve,... Awakening is just PERFECT, I really love it. I think the key is how to get new audience to listen to you the first time. Once this is done, your talent does the rest and I'm sure lots of those new people will become loyal fans. That happened to me when I listened to and watched you for the first playing Skyrim and then... well, I realiced that I had just met the true Dragonborn! :) Personally, I think a good way to reach new audience for that first time is through movie soundtracks. I know you have already your "Legendary Movie Music" album (one of my favourites without any doubt), but I have sometimes wondered why you have just made only one movie OST album when there are a plenty of wonderful movie songs like Out of Africa, Schindler List, The Goodfather, Avatar, The Last Moohicane, Leyends of the Fall, Armageddon, Da Vinci Code, Van Helsing, Transformers, The Rock, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Narnia Chronicles, Charriots of fire and so and so on. Any of these songs with your skilled arrangements would be as fantastic songs as are your Pirates of the Caribbean or Now we are free themes. I think the movie market has by far many more followers than the game and anime ones, so people that will never find you searching a game song, could do it searching a movie one. Besides, movie soundtracks include many types of music, clasic, pop, rock, ballads,.. so you can also find that mix of music types and variation you commented.

Allan Linehan Thanks for the scoop on the violin! I just ordered a carbon fiber violin from a maker whose shop is on a boat on SF bay! His violins are really beautiful with a non-traditional blood wood finger board and tail piece. His interpretation of the scroll is very inspired. I can't wait to start playing it! Take a look @ www.elixirviolins.com

John M Weeks This is part of the reason I ( and others here I'm sure ) choose to support you and enjoy doing it. No cap here Dear Lady, I will gladly support another video for you. I am glad to see you being able to do more, but please don't get so involved or pushed that you lose the personal touch that makes your music the special touch that it is.

Chris Willard I am sad, because I didn't see this in time, and would have loved to raise my cap settings and support this third video this month. And it was such a fantastic video too. And I feel especially bad that I paid peter for it, but not you! I guess I'll have to catch up on the next one :)

John M Weeks Truly the more I listen to and watch this video, the more I like it . I do have to agree with a comment made on your first posting of this. The other videos I have watched of Critical Hit were not bad, but they were not all that good either. The talent of the players is clearly obvious. But in the end, they were not playing the same song. Melding of the players needs to be seamless. You and Lara do this to great and wonderful effect, now with this video, Critical Hit has too !!!

Taylor Davis Cool, thanks for the feedback John! I totally know what you mean, the filming quality was nice bc FifGen is of course very professional :) but there wasn't really anything special going on. We were pretty rushed and had to shoot 4 videos in 2 days haha, so there wasn't a whole lot we could do in terms of unique concepts etc,. It was hard just to get everyone together at the same time since there are 8 of us, and everyone in the group travels a lot so some of the members were only available for 1 day of shooting and had to leave early so sometimes we're all together, and in some of the videos there were stand ins haha so it wasn't an ideal situation for our first videos. I'm hoping that maybe we'll have the chance to do more later this year, and if so I'm hoping that we can take our time with just doing 1 or 2 really great ones where everyone can be present because I think it would have a much greater impact than these first ones!

John M Weeks Simple is sometimes better. To watch you play, to hear your music as it comes thru you is what brought me here to begin with. The only draw back is the canned karaoke backtrack. Don't get me wrong, I very much enjoyed this video, you played wonderfully. And I fully understand why you used it. However when you are able to do the backtrack on your own, more of what the music means to you comes thru.

Taylor Davis No problem Theron! I actually had to compress the original file to attach it and then I guess the site compressed it further just to safe space because it's really large! I uploaded the original to my dropbox so I'm linking it for you here :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/2gbqnxjsubyx2r6/Taylor%20Davis_Circle%20of%20Life%20Pic.jpg

John M Weeks Very nice picture Taylor. I miss greatly living in that part of the country. Thanks for sharing!!! :) Theron, this picture is a converted JPEG set at 800x450 in a base RGB format. You can download it and expand it to your screen if you want, but it will quickly pixilate as you do. The native file is probably large so it was changed to this format to save space. and upload time. And no you are not being a derp, the only way to find out what you don't know is by asking. ^^
