Hello! I'm Ryan Mandseth, AKA Kuurion. I do art and a webcomic (with my writer partner, Captain Video) as a hobby, though I'm taking full-time school with intent to get into game animation when I graduate.
This is a way to support our webcomic project, Our World, and help supplement the time we put into this. The story is about a girl in a strange jumpsuit who washes up on a beach with amnesia, and is found by another family. Where she and the jumpsuit came from is something she decides right away she does NOT want to know - but the past will come back to haunt her in her adult life!
The comic is and will remain 100% Free Content, but this just supplies a way for people who want to support us with an avenue to do so! As the goblins say, Time is Money. Neither of us is particularly well-off, and I've taken about $50,000 in student loan debt to get myself into a career (Game Art is a very expensive degree!) so any little bit helps. I'd also love to upgrade to a Cintiq one day!
Lastly, I got a word from Our World's other half:
Hi! I'm Captain Video, or "CV." We're glad to be able to bring Our World to you, and we want to show you as much as we can. We're excited about Patreon because it will let us spend more time on a project we love, taking it places we otherwise couldn't.
