Captain Lian Fisher is the powerful and beautiful astronaut who was left to die on Mars - but instead was saved and gained superpowers from an alien crystal. Her origin story was only fully produced in the "Spare Parts" book. Upon reaching this goal, I will create a new special standalone version of "Payload" - that includes extra story stuff, sketches, drawings, pinups and anything else I can think of to make it really cool. This book will be produced, numbered, signed and physically mailed to all supporters.

About

I’m a lifelong comics, art and story lover. I’ve worked as a professional artist of some sort for 25 years – as a graphic designer, a web designer and developer, and a user interface and user experience designer.

Comics have always been very special to me. I can remember be very young and learning to read, sitting on the couch with my mom reading “Snoopy and the Red Baron” out loud to her. I kept saying “world war eye” instead of “world war one.” It was written “World War I” and I didn’t quite understand Roman numerals yet. But comics made me want to read.

Five years ago I began publishing my own comics, with my first project, “Marooned – A Space Opera in the Wrong Key!” which concluded in 2013. I hope you’ll join me in the adventures in comics and stories that are to follow.

My name is Tom Dell'Aringa and I create graphic novels. Over the last seven years I've self-published two graphic novels. The first was "Marooned - A Space Opera in the Wrong Key!" Marooned became a sci-fi staple in the online comics scene and successfully reached its Kickstarter goal in the Fall of 2013.

In the summer of 2015, I successfully Kickstarted my second graphic novel "Rock and Tin."

I am currently in development work (which is being posted here) for my next big project, "Pong the Mystic."

If you enjoy my work, becoming a Patron is a wonderful way to help support my continued efforts. In return, you will get a front row seat to the behind-the-scenes work that goes into the creation of a graphic novel. And depending on what level of support you choose, there are some special rewards to be had that can only be gotten here.

No matter what level you choose, any support is greatly appreciated, as it helps me further the work of creating comics. Thank you!

What is Patreon?
Patreon is a neat way for you to support people that make stuff that you like. It allows you to donate to them (in this case, monthly) while they make things (which in this case is comics!)

How often will I be charged?
You will be charged once a month. You can also read more Patreon FAQs here!
