Greetings!
My name is Angie Schuyler , creator of
"Perceptions & Reflections~ Art for Meditation, Inspiration & Activation"
also known by it's acronym "PRmia"
That title says everything about what this art is intended for.
Perception, is as individual as each of us. These drawings can help people understand that even though we all look at the same world, we do not ever see it exactly the same. Everyone sees something different, in this art, and in the world, and every point of view is acceptable and real. When we understand that everyone has their own unique perspective, and is completely entitled to it, there will be far less, to engage in conflict over.
The perception lesson in these drawings, is two-fold, because this art can also teach the lesson of flexibility of perception. The ability to easily change our mind, and see from other perspectives, is a useful skill. Each piece of art can be viewed from every possible angle, and reveal completely new features, to the eye of the beholder.... but only if you are willing to let go of what you previously saw there.... :-)
Reflection, is shown in the things we see in the art. We each see what we need to see, for our own healing. The art reflects messages from our souls. The things that show themselves to us, in the pictures, reveal to us a sign, a feeling, or a message, that can assist us on our path. As we heal as individuals, we are doing the best thing we are capable of doing, on behalf of the whole.
Meditation, done while coloring, or just contemplating the art; or simply tracing the lines, reveals symbols, scenes, and feelings that are valuable clues to your spiritual and emotional states.
Inspiration flows, once we open ourselves to the messages within the art.
Activation of creative inspiration, is a side effect of simply observing and interacting with these drawings.
I have plans to publish these, in coloring book form, and as a large spiral bound presentation / coffee table book. There will be a deck of inspirational mediation cards, a game for all ages, and I will be creating a companion book to accompany all of those things. The book will give lots of ideas on how to utilize the art. There will also be posters, which will be framed with a swivel hanger, in the center of the back, because each of these pieces can be viewed from every possible angle... which means you get several pieces of art for one price! There will probably be stickers too! :-)
