Pledging to me means you'll be getting short stories (or chapter by chapter larger pieces,) preview releases and design talk of both video games and tabletop RPGs, sometimes pixel art, and the occasional game review. Regardless of how much you pledge, I will be updating 1-2 times a month, very rarely more. Note: The reason I have it set to per release instead of monthly is to avoid auto-charging folks in case I welch on a month.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Video Games
Note: All will be Windows first, then Linux and Mac after.
Melody
A love letter to both the Mother series and the Mana series in general. A simple mostly top-down art style with an action-heavy playstyle. Expect to get attacked by stop signs or displeased mailboxes.
Progress: Chapter 1. 40%

Occultar Eternal A mystery-focused visual novel / dungeon crawler set in a massive internationally known and lauded academy built upon an island. A girl gone missing just as the new year begins, spurring on a mystery only a handful new students can solve. Expect plenty of weird and creepy stuff.
Progress: Major story events are story-boarded. Script 20%, art will come after.

Larceny & Loss It's a roguelite designed around a single premise: What if there was a game like the thief-series, but entirely dedicated to the initial concept of being a thief, stealing things, and managing to barely dodge the city guard? So I made one. The game features a massive procedurally generated random city with thousands of NPCs all with their own weird personality quirks and personal preferences. Groups actually move and act as groups, dynamic teamwork between NPC guards is not only a possibility but a guarantee. Leap from rooftop to rooftop, using ropes you've pinned to mansion roofs to zipline while guards fire arrows at you haphazardly. A guard climbing the gutters SLIPS, and you crash through the window. It's time to find a disguise since you've forgotten to case your target beforehand. Ascii & tiles will be options.
Progress: AI is mostly complete, there's a lot of basic data entry stuff & a lot of world gen code to go as well as the dialogue engine.

Tabletop RPGs
Electric City Game about the lost and downtrodden struggling to be free in a city controlled by money and The Man. Heavily influenced by Jet Set Radio, Air Gear, and The World Ends With You. In the future the world has ended, the corporations have control, mankind is merely a set of cogs in a well-oiled and intensely refined machine constructed of glass and hot-white metal, shining in the bright sun. Pretty, perfect, a utopia of consumerism and corporate greed. Of course, there's perfect..and then there's too perfect. Beyond the bright facades and happy faces, beyond the shining streets lies a secret.
The Underground. The only hope left in a broken world, the Underground arose from the ashes of the sports wars holding their weapons proudly; Jetskates.
Dispossessed and harried by the corporations they dove into the underground systems of their cities hidden in the sewers, utility tunnels, and lost subway tunnels. The corporations want to change them..they want to control them but as they hid, they grew stronger, and their population grew as those above heard and passed along the stories of The Underground.
You are one of them and it's time you go fucking nuts. Armed with your Brand, your Aesthetic, and the Rhythm & Juice pumping through your veins, you can't fail.
No, you won't fail.
Expect danger, but never back down. Go big or go home and...
Welcome to Electric City.

Progress: The game is at 30% while the fluff (short stories, setting info) is at 45%. Afterward I'll need to commission artists to prettify the hell out of the game.

Get Equipped Game about bio-mechanical heroes fighting to protect a city that still hasn't quite accepted them from those who would mean the city ill. Inspired by the Mega Man series with it's own weird twists.
Progress:  Right now the game itself is at 38% and I haven't really started the fluff, but it should proceed rapidly after I complete other projects.

Blood, Sand, and Dead Men Sword and sorcery game set on a desert world where dragons have begun tearing themselves from the very sand. Needless to say along with them they've brought friends.
Progress: None, still prototyping.

Just Pirates An alternate history earth conquered by a few dominant pirate captains and then immediately torn to pieces by an act of almost profane betrayal, tearing the continents asunder and leaving an ocean full of islands and terror. The existing power structures completely smashed, the players take up their own adventures in a mad-max style pirate-ran ocean where the only land is the islands left over from the wreckage of the continents.
Progress: Game 33%, Fluff 42%, Art 0%

Kayfabe Killers A Pro Wrestling RPG where KAYFABE IS LAW, AND VIOLATING IT IS... DEATH (of your career.) Sabotage other wrestlers, job like a pro, and maybe even you can become THE TRUE KAYFABE KILLER OF THE RING and take the belt that's rightfully yours.
Progress: Game 16%, Fluff 0%, Art 0%.

The Blood of Garda A tabletop RPG heavily influenced by JRPGs such as Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star. It's a diceless system revolving around resource management through spending and gaining tokens as you play and is fast and tactical.
Progress: Basic Mechanics/Combat 100%, Races 36%, Class Books(Mystic Edge 50%, Dark Knight 70%, Engineer 13%, Dark Sorcerer 22%, Stylist 42%,) General Talents 29%

Dancing on the Razor's Edge A cyberpunk tabletop RPG powered by the Apocalypse Engine. Brutal and dark shit goes down in the world's hellish corporate slum zones. Consigned to the twisted slum zone of Neo-Kowloon, can you survive when even your allies might want you dead?
Progress: Basic Moves  89%, Playbooks(The Addict 75%, The Professional 30%)
