Power Cycle is a trio of composers - J.R. Edwards, Breck McGough, and Santiago Ramones. They can encompass a variety of styles and genres, from intricately planned compositions to completely improvised otherworldly experiences. They each have a Master's degree in Music Composition from the University of Central of Oklahoma. They came together when Dr. L. Keith White decided to get his three graduate electroacoustic composers together, and they have been periodically mystifying the Jazz Lab since September of 2018 with their Electric Pizza concerts. J.R. Edwards' main instrument is Cello, on which he has undergraduate and graduate degrees, but he also has a physics background. Breck McGough has a strong tenor voice (he's studied voice his entire college career) but is also proficient at piano and electronics. Santiago Ramones' undergrad is in Music Production, plays a bit of guitar and bass, and specializes in Ableton Live, although his primary instrument is voice (also a tenor).

When we reach $200 per month, we will rehearse regularly (weekly, if possible) and stream our rehearsals to our patrons. Our rehearsals are where our coolest and strangest ideas appear spontaneously, and we'd love for you to see and hear them!
