Milestone Goals
Film Festivals
Get Coma and Stranger into more film festivals. Stranger has already debuted at the beyond the Beaten Path Film Festival in So Cal as an Official Selection, and they've both been entered into about 5-6 film festivals between now and next year. You can never have too much exposure.
Photoshoot no. 1-
Start investing in diy materials, including fabric and other accessories for my next photoshoot. This one is going to take a lot of collaboration with a mua at the least. But this would get me started on buying the bare necessities.
Make "God and the Devil" and "Delilah"
With this much I would have enough to make both short films. I've previously worked out the budget with the director. This would cover the cost of everything from the the location, the wardrobe, lighting, sound, etc etc
About
I'm a photographer, screenwriter, and reviewer based in NYC. As you can guess my trade is primarily Horror/related genres. I also work in the field of genetics. Both my passion of learning and science in general serves as impetus for the stories I want to tell. I'm inspired by ancient cultures, mythology, and art, nature, demons, dreams, alchemistry, Dark Ambient/Dark Classical music, tenebrist painting, etc etc. I've created two films, thus far, Coma and Stranger. Both are currently on the film festival circuit. This past March, Stranger showed at the Beyond the Beaten Path festival in SoCal. Both have also been accepted for another small film festival coming up in December. I've entered a few more festivals and await their response. Small steps.

My goal is to bring more faces of color into the realm of Horror. Thus far I have created two short Psychological Horror films, Coma and Stranger. Both were directed by Jeremiah Kipp (I Sell the Dead, The Minions, Painkiller) and star Lydia Darly (Exorcist: The Beginning, The Way You Love). In addition to film, I have also only just begun to synthesize my love of African mythology into my dark and horrific photographic vision.
Currently I am trying to raise money for 2 short films, "God and the Devil" and "Delilah", and photographic projects. Both are origin stories for a feature length film I am writing called Demonized, a story of a young girl who finds an alchemical recipe for a demon in a science lab. Both short films are moody, dark theatricial pieces, with the three title characters as the protagonists in each film film, respectively.
Your pledge will help to bring this vision to life.
Although my other films are currently making rounds on the film festival circuit, these two will be the ones to put me on the map. They are at the heart of everything I stand for conceptually and philosophically as an artist. The entire Demonized-verse has nods to Dario Argento/the Giallo genre, Tom Waits, Caravaggio, as well as the epic struggle of good and evil, etc etc A visual and audial dark feast for the senses.
