I know there are a hundred thousand independent game developers floating around on the internet, and I'm not going to pretend that I'm radically different from any one of them. I will say that in a sea of wonderful creativity there's still something left to be desired. I miss the 80's and 90's. My games have always been heavily inspired by gaming of the NES and SNES era. If you're looking for modern, artsy fartsy games with lengthy tutorials, I'm probably not going to be making something you're interested in. If you're looking for an oldschool gaming itch to get scratched, I might be able to help!

Everything I've designed tends to hark back to games I've enjoyed growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. Blaster Master, Metroid, Air Fortress, Journey to Silius, and a lot of other classics are all major inspirations for me. Making sure everything I create pays homage to those in some way is very important.

I've participated in a few themed game jams/game showcases, and below are some games to check out~

I'm interested not only in continuing to participate in game jams during my spare time, but also creating something much larger in scale. That's the goal of this patreon- to help facilitate and encourage the development of projects that reflect a part of my youth that is so very important to me.

Even if you're not planning on becoming a patron, I do want to thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully play some games!

I'm not one to make traditional design documents unless I'm working in a team- instead, I make small proof-of-concept 'games' to test out certain things I want to work on just to see if they're fun or not! They're usually small test games with not too terribly much to do, but they show mechanics I'm interested in working with!

Pledging $1 gives you access to those proof-of-concept games!

I know it's cliche and it really isn't much, but with this I'll put you in the credits of any game in development at the time this is pledged! Thank you!

Also includes the previous reward!

I've always loved when games have special rooms dedicated to people who've helped make it possible. I figure this is an easy enough thing to do, so why not?
