About Project Bloody
Period Poverty affects one in ten girls in the UK according to mainstream studies, meaning 10% of young girls are being forced to use improvised methods of sanitary protection such as newspaper or toilet roll which is UNHYGIENIC and UNSAFE. Project Bloody aims to help eradicate Period Poverty by providing sanitary products to those who need it. During our first 6 months of operation we were able to provide tampons and pads to over 250 people in need, and in 2019 we’re aiming to help over 1000 individuals! This is why we have opened our “Sponsor A Period” option. Each monthly donation will be used to provide mentrual products for those in need.
