Find those at <a href="https://queersocialclub.com/memberships" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://queersocialclub.com/memberships</a><h2 style="">BREAKING NEWS:</h2><h2 style="">Queer Community Need Unlocked</h2><ul><li>LGBTQ+ people need free and easy access to queer-loved local events and resources.</li><li>Queer Social Club provides opportunities for thousands of LGBTQ+ people to find new people and places to connect - with updates every week!</li><li>We no longer have to rely on social media, or having established friend networks, just to know what's going on in the community.</li></ul><h4 style="">TBH, This is Pretty Sweet</h4><ul><li>Launched in Portland, OR in 2022 as a personal weekend project, QSC has blossomed into a full-time operation with thousands of weekly subscribers.</li><li>We're getting requests to expand to other cities... but first we have to pay the monthly bills to keep the website online and send emails.</li></ul><h4 style="">TBH, This is Pretty Expensive</h4><ul><li>With natural growth comes steeply rising costs for services, since most are tiered based on the amount of people using it (AKA capitalism).</li><li>QSC has been a personally-funded labor of love since launching in March 2022.</li><li>As of early 2023, even the basic maintenance costs were no longer financially sustainable out-of-pocket as a personal project... so we launched this Patreon for community support!</li><li>Instead of seeking outside&nbsp;investors 💸 or selling people's data 🤮 QSC is relying on direct community support, through Patreon, Venmo tips, and paid sponsorships from the business community.</li><li>This approach keeps QSC operations focused on growing sustainably and independently - keeping services FREE to access and ensuring we make improvements that directly benefit our community (AKA people over profit).</li></ul>TBH, We Could Do Something Really Cool HereWe plan to expand in lots of ways over time - but first, we prioritize keeping the main engine running...QSC Priorities Ranked by Importance:<ol><li>Establishing consistent funding via Patreon support, tips, and other sources as opportunities arise 🫶</li><li>Paying for continued website + email services</li><li>Upgrading website + email services to support continued growth</li><li>Expanding services to other cities, ideally offering calendar and email services to areas far beyond the Portland, OR region</li></ol>Patreon members will be the first to receive any kinds of exclusive perks, gifts or new features we can offer in the future.Together we are building strong and connected queer communities!LOVE U 😘-Crisp (QSC founder, lesbian, Libra rising)
