Joanna Campe, a passionate advocate for remineralization and a pioneer of regenerative agriculture since the 1980’s founded Remineralize the Earth (RTE).-In 1995, RTE became a nonprofit organization with a mission to show the world that finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals are an inexpensive and efficient way to increase crop yields, produce more nutritious food, restore and protect our soils and forests, and sequester atmospheric carbon to stabilize the climate.-Through our education and outreach, projects, research, and advocacy, RTE facilitates a worldwide movement that brings together gardeners and farmers, scientists and policymakers and the public to create better soils, better food, and a better planet. Perhaps most importantly, it offers a “beyond organic” alternative to chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We can eliminate nitrogen runoff, protect waterways and de-acidify the oceans.-Soil remineralization is simple, intuitively learned, and applicable at the community level. What is required is the planet’s most abundant resource. Rocks! We can move from an era of economics based on scarcity to one of abundance through the power of rock dust.
