Hello Friends!  I am in the  beginning stages of using Patreon as a way of presenting my teachings. We'll figure this out as we go along.

I am posting most of my Shabbat morning teachings, first the most recent, and then work backwards.

I am also putting up a series of Podcasts that I am calling temporarily "Applied Spiritual Psychology", putting together the basics of spiritual psychology applied to interpersonal relationships.

I have tried to make the price very reasonable. Some of you listeners are members and supporters of my synagogue, Ohr HaTorah, which makes all of this possible. Members of the synagogue should feel free to  "patron" at the minimum. You already give tremendous support.

For you fine folks who are not members of my synagogue, please consider paying a little (or a lot) more, to even things about.  As I learn more about Patreon, there probably will be standard levels of being a patron of my teachings, different levels for different levels of access.

For those who don't know much about me, here is an intro:

My main insight from years of teaching and counseling:  Most people suffer more than they need to because they don't think well. If people thought better, they would be able to manage their feelings and emotions. My teachings in spiritual psychology, wisdom and virtue focus mostly on achieving wisdom and virtue in all parts of our lives. People say that my teachings and counseling bring clarity to their lives and if things can get better, they get better fast. If not, at least you'll get to the truth of things.

I also teach about the more purely spiritual dimensions (such as Kabbalah for intelligent skeptics) of the inner life.

A little bit about me:  I consider myself an intelligent, skeptical spiritual seeker. As a rabbi, I am mostly skeptical about organized religion so I am trying to fix it. When I am not watching some new series on Netflix, HBO, Showtime, etc. (usually the darker fare)  I study philosophy, psychology, ethics, politics, etc., in addition to Jewish library (e.g., Bible, Talmud, Midrash, Zohar, Hasidic texts, Avivah Zornberg, etc.)
