I constantly find myself struggling to understand how technology works, but once I finally figure things out, I think to myself: "That was really hard and confusing! Someone should really make a better video or article that explains it for others!". And that's pretty much what I do now: I write articles and make videos that explain the answers to STEM-related questions that I personally had myself.

Composing these video/article explanations requires an enormous amount of time and effort. Much more so than if I were to just solve my own problem and move on without making the solution available publicly for others.
