Cost of Living
This is roughly what the spouse and I need to afford a place to live and food.

Hullo!
I'm Ryu and I am an illustrator, sculptor and comic artist currently based in Oregon.
For a long while my main project was a semi-autobiographical webcomic about my spouse and I called Phouka Loves Ryu.
It ran it's course and is now on indefinite hiatus. But, feel free to check it out. It's five years of silliness, so it's well worth the browsing time.
I am currently putting my efforts into creating my first children's book, an adult meditative coloring book (involving dinosaurs), fanciful illustrations, and any commission that comes my way.

I would like to eventually be able to create a living from my creations as a freelance artist and also have the free time to focus on improving my craft.
The money from my Patreon will go towards helping me (and my spouse) live, create comics, new products, children's books, and even more cute and creepy art.
My goals for this year
Starting a brand new webcomic: Living with the T.E.M
Publishing my very first children's book.
I have LOTS of ideas swimming around my head at the moment. Tigers, Goblins, more tigers, and even a coloring book!
I really want to get all of them published this year, but I'll have to settle for at least one. (Fingers Crossed!)
And Creating Kittens of Doom on a regular basis.
