Hi. Welcome to my Patreon page. Patreon is a way for fan's to support my writing. Unlike Kickstarter and other crowd source funding, Patreon is not specific to any one project. It is an ongoing campaign allowing those who like what I do to offer support. Here's how it works. You pledge a dollar amount that you will donate each time I post content. Don't worry you can set a cap per month just in case I decide to get real prolific. It can be as little as one dollar or as much as... well let's not put limits on this. I intend to post an eclectic mix of content from poetry to serial fiction. I'm raising money BY posting my poetry and stories in a series. I'm raising money FOR my independently published books (content from which will surely show up in posts as well).

Patreon Exclusive

My daughter and I are going to partner to bring you a wonderful story for the holidays GETTING INTO THE SPIRT. Look for my writing and her illustrations to appear in posts soon.

WIP (Works In Progress)

Rabbit's Snow Day

Concept art by Penny Collins

Winter is full of danger. A hungry fox searching for food. Man.

However, when a young bunny has mama and papa to cuddle in a cozy hole home all is contentment. Rabbit’s Snow Day is an idyllic poem perfect to cuddle up and share on your own snow day.
Rabbit’s Snow Day is being illustrated by Penny Collins of Studio 566 http://studio566.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-works-of-studio-566.html and http://www.ragingbunnies.net/#_=_

Vitals: Children's Poem about feeling safe with family. Nonfiction component teaches about wild rabbits. Spiritual component tells of the legend of St. Francis and the rabbit and includes a poem encouraging the reader to care for creation. Will be used to raise environmental awareness.

Spirits At Night (Out This Christmas)

Subtly spiritual and wholly magical, Spirits At Night captures the imagination and transforms the night into a time of wonder. Here is a collection of poetry perfectly suited to make the bedtime ritual a warm, loving transition into sleep. And a catalyst for treasured memories for child and caregiver to last a lifetime.

Snow Bloom

Set in tenth century Bohemia, Snow Bloom is an extension of John Mason Neal’s, Good King Wenceslas Christmas Carol. An old peasant gathers wood outside the castle but not for the purpose the king suspects. Meanwhile a young girl has perilously ventured out into a winter storm armed with a bit of magic and looking for a Christmas miracle.

Snow Bloom is being illustrated by award winning artist Anne Yvonne Gilbert http://yvonnegilbert.com/ who has over thirty years as an industry leading illustrator.

Unlike the above WIPs this project is being submitted to traditional publishers. Funding will be needed to promote it but I primarily mention it here for your prayers.

Vitals: Christmas book written in poetic prose about an orphan girl grieving the loss of her parents. She nearly parishes in a sever winter storm but is saved by a magic beast and Good King Wenceslas.  Nonfiction components include a biography of the life and legends of the real Wenceslas, Duke Svaty Vaclav I, and a glossary of religious, mythical and historical terms. The spiritual component is woven into the telling of the story. This book poetic and beautiful is sure to be a work of art in and of itself.

The Little Brown Book: This leather bound pocket book contains very short prayers you can say throughout your day in order to continual align your spirit with God (Paul calls it praying without ceasing, I call it a constant turning). This prayer book also includes ancient prayers borrowed from various traditions for those who are grieving, those in need of healing, in need of provision, etc.

$0 of $75 per eclectic mix of written work
Upon reaching this level I will be able to commission an artist to create a Trade Mark image for my independent publishing moniker Cyfarwydd (it is Welsh and it means story teller). Here is what I envision: a Monk sitting in a capital "C" with gaelic design work, he is reading to a rabbit who is periscoping towards him.
