Most people online know me as SWEGTA.
I've been making Bully videos on YouTube since 2011. YouTube has recently been cracking down on content deemed "not suitable for advertisers." I fall into this category due to the name of the game I make videos about.
'Bully' is a stigmatized word. But I can assure you that the game itself actually condemns bullying. So much so that even the main character of the game has several lines wherein he speaks out against it. YouTube simply doesn't care.
I want to keep on making videos. But it seems like the days of relying on ad revenue are over. Right now I'm facing a big drop in income from video revenue due to an automated system that simply glances at the titles of my videos, as nearly all of them contain the word 'Bully', and then shuts them down for monetization based on the titles alone.
For the past couple of years I've been relying on YouTube to pay my rent and keep myself fed. But now it seems that those days may just be over. That is, unless you want to help me maintain this gig.
I absolutely love making videos. And I love connecting with people in this great community. So much so that I even run my own Bully fansite, which has become the largest Bully fanmade website to date.
All of that was made possible by the support of my audience. And you can keep that from going away by pledging to my Patreon.
Thanks for hearing me out.
