Hello!

"Tor is free software for enabling anonymous communication. The name is an acronym derived from the original software project name The Onion Router. Tor directs Internet traffic through a free, worldwide, volunteer network consisting of more than six thousand relays to conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis."

I am a Linux sysadmin with 10+ years of experience, and have supported a number of Tor nodes in the past.  I'm turning to the community to help turn my hobby of supporting the Tor network into a larger project.

With your funding, we'll be able to bring more routers, bridges, and exit nodes online worldwide.  As support increases, we'll bring servers online around the world.

We plan to start in central Europe with virtual servers and eventually expand to every continent, and eventually migrate to 100% dedicated servers.

Each month, I'll publish raw data and graphs showing the project's progress and results.  This data should also be independently verifiable via 3rd party TorStatus trackers.

Funding will only go towards hardware, hosting, and bandwidth unless the project grows to a scale that is unreasonable to manage alone (8-10hrs/week).

Thanks for reading!
