Sage & Sound Advice
Hosted by top Los Angeles session musicians VICTOR INDRIZZO & JEFF BABKO
Brief episodes with glimpses into the day to day world of recording studios, big and small, and the people that create within their walls.

From historic headquarters SAGE AND SOUND RECORDING in Hollywood, the hosts will introduce each roughly 10 minute episode.
SAGE AND SOUND is where countless recordings have been made over the decades, from Chet Baker (the “Lets Get Lost” movie) to Weezer (“Africa”).
Each show will contain:
A live musical performance & interview with a different artist
History of various studios, many which have “slipped through the cracks” of public consciousness but housed the creation of classic tracks.
A one-on-one with one of the professionals that make the music industry tick from “behind the scenes” (production coordinator, contractor, cartage pro, engineer, producer, manufacturer)
The viewer will also have access to behind the scenes extras, recording tips and tricks, and looks at and into essential studio gear.
SAGE AND SOUND ADVICE should appeal to everyone from the casual music aficionado, the curious fan, the modern history buff to the working music pro.
Co-host VICTOR INDRIZZO is a Los Angeles studio and touring drummer who has played on a slew of hit records from Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morrisette, Macy Gray and a list of others, as well as being a composer, pr.
Co-host JEFF BABKO is a studio and touring keyboardist who has been in the house band at “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for 16 years as well as touring with James Taylor, and performing with and appearing in the 2018 Netflix special with Steve Martin & Martin Short.
Together, Indrizzo and Babko have played on a range of television and motion picture scores, records, as well as having toured with Sheryl Crow (“Miles from Memphis” DVD).
