Hello everyone! Greetings from Derek, Kyle, and Terrell. We're the co-creators of Scholars At Play, a project which started out in November 2016 as a podcast, but which has expanded into writing and videos about games and their place in society and the academy. In all of our projects, we try to bring academic work into conversation with games and the popular conversations happening around them.

In our podcast, we've touched on a lot of games and topics, including:

We love making these podcasts, but planning, recording, editing, and hosting them can be time-intensive and a little expensive. By supporting us on Patreon, you help us cover the costs of producing and hosting our podcasts, and allow us to experiment with new formats and projects like video essays, live events, and live streams.

Goals
$5 of $100 per month
Between hosting fees, audio equipment, and time in the studio, we spend a lot of time and a decent amount of money producing the podcast. At 100 USD a month, all podcast expenses, equipment, and labor would be covered by you, our supporters! Thank you!
