There’s no shortage of scientific journals, news sites, blogs, vlogs, and videos racing to keep track of and explain the latest breakthroughs. Facebook posts and tweets distill each development into a steady stream of bite-size announcements. Today, like yesterday, Science is pushing the boundaries of what is we thought was possible and challenging what our future might look like. But is anyone taking the time to really consider the implications of the daily advances?

Not really.

That’s where we come in.

The Scientific Inquirer’s goal is to understand today’s science and what it means for society. In order to do that, we’ll turn to a diverse range of fields, many of them non-scientific. We’ll investigate how science influences every aspect of life, from the Arts to crisis situations. We’ll also turn to you, the Patreon community, for feedback, ideas, and support. So thank you ahead of time for coming with us on this journey.

And please, check out the Scientific Inquirer and tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.

$4 of $1,500 per month
The first goal we’re looking forward to reaching is $1,500.00 per month. It will allow us to continue building the Scientific Inquirer. Most importantly, it will allow us to pay writers who contribute their time, talents, and stories. We don’t believe anyone should work for free.
