Daodejing Studies and Daoist Meditation.

This is a group of people dedicated to 10 minutes of daily chanting the Daodejing followed by the practice of an hour of Daoist Meditation.

Once monthly, Sunday at 8am Mountain Time, we meet in a private video group for two hours to study commentaries on the coming month's chapter. This tier gives you access to previous videos which are always posted for those who miss the live video. You also get a PDF of the commentary to print out in advance, and other supporting practice materials.

I am available for private consultations about practice for everyone in this group, as needed. The Commentaries are created from both traditional Daoist Commentaries like Xiang'er and He Shanggong, as well as famous Chinese Commentators throughout the last 2000 years. They are supplemented by the teachings of Liu Ming, who was my intimate Daoist teacher for 10 years and whose detailed written commentaries I refer to.
We practice two types of meditation.

1) Zuowang, otherwise known as "Sitting and Forgetting." It can be described as "utterly non-conceptual stillness" and can be practiced sitting or standing. This practice parallels the Dzogchen Tradition of Tibet.

2) Jindan, otherwise known as The Golden Elixir. This practice is based on creating an Immortal Egg composed of the basic constituents of being. It is the basis of Internal Martial Arts and other artistic/healing traditions. This practice parallels the Tantric Meditation traditions of Tibet, producing reversals and inversions of perception/action.
