The next and maybe final step, is that automation will do for material wealth what it did for the internet. Soon the self-replicating machine will enable mankind to have virtually unlimited access to physical material wealth at an insubstantial cost. Its not a matter of if, but only when. The lab will pay and contract with a glass maker to make a simple precursor prototype that generates a small amount of electricity from the sun.  This demonstrates the concept of using the almost limitless resource of sand to mass manufacture crude but useful mechanisms.  Computer simulations of the first SRS model will also be presented first to patrons.
