I'm Seri, the creator and creative force behind the Seri! Let's Play channel! I am a biologist-in-training with a deep passion for the natural world - and an almost equally deep passion for story-telling. I created my Youtube channel at first as a hobby and have since realized the immense potential that it has as both an entertainment and educational source for anyone interested in learning about the natural world.

Now my time and energy goes into trying to educate our viewers about real-world science and biology while still keeping everyone entertained on the adventures our many various Let's Play series take us through. I grew up under the influence of powerful entertainment stars and wildlife conservationists such as Steve Iwrin and Jeff Corwin - figures who haven't, for this next generation, been replaced to ignite the same passion for learning about the natural world around me that those powerful role models did.

I am a former educator for a non-profit that focused on teaching elementary school children science in a unique, hand's on environment - and those skills have come in very useful when it comes to fulfilling the mission set out by this channel: to educate and entertain while nurturing curiosity and passion for our planet in the next generation.

As I transition further into becoming a professional youtuber I am able to devote additional time to making truly quality content that focuses on encouraging that curiosity in my viewers, many of whom are younger children and quite a few of whom are adults who find our adventures together relaxing and entertaining - as well as educational.

It is my hope that one day, as our community and my skills grow, I will be able to entice our viewers over from not only our video game worlds, but the real world. I am working within my means right now, which means the only animals on my channel are in pixel form or local wildlife I've managed to locate, but it is my hope that I will one day have the ability and resources to visit wildlife conservation groups, accredited zoos and rescue centers, national parks, and other locations to record real life animals and interview professionals in the fields of science and conservation around the world.

As part of that goal I work diligently to do my best to encourage a friendly, open community among the viewers on my channel. This is a place where people can not only come to watch a Let's Play series - but they can come to meet other people just as passionate about the natural world as they are, which I hope will give them the passion and strength to follow their curiosity and grow into inquisitive, science-loving adults. Or, for the adults already here, give their children or themselves a relaxing, safe place to enjoy some random facts about giraffe tongues and panda mating calls that they never knew.

To see additional ways you can support myself and our mission, don't forget to check our Donations & Support page (with rewards!) for one-time instead of monthly donation options as well as how you can lend us support in non-monetary ways like fanart, fanfiction, world-building, and simply having fun!

Hand-Written Thank-You Letter!

The excitement of getting something in the mail never really really gets old - so of course I would love to share that excitement with you through sending a hand-written thank you letter! My hand-writing may be somewhat more like my finches scratching at paper, but I will still be happy to send a cheerful note your way! A few interesting facts about the natural world and some small specimens from my rock, shell, or feather collections may find their way to you too!

BONUS! Specimen Samples! [ Zoo Server Special ]

A special bonus for Patreons who reside at this tier of rewards and also play on our survival Zoo Server! The server won't be able to open until we unlock our first milestone, but once we are there Patreons will receive a monthly bonus chest with a fun collection of random items inside!

The monthly specimen chest will include some fascinating specimens of plants, animals parts, fresh baked goods, and even the occasional spawn egg! Randomized books with facts about plants or animals - written by Seri - will be sprinkled in too to give you an "exclusive collectible" to add to your library! In keeping with the server rules Mojang has laid down, none of the items will overpower players, but it will allow you to add to your garden or zoo and enjoy an awesome monthly surprise delivered right to your Minecraft front door!

Psst, and don't forget you get a tree planted in your name too! How cool is that?!

Adopt a Mooshroom!

Who doesn't love adorable Mooshrooms?! They're so cute with those little fungi growing on their heads and their calm moos! Now, if you would like, you can get an adorable mooshroom of your very own - in real life!

These are a special edition hand-crafted item that Seri has made herself! These Mooshroom figures have been carefully made out of clay, paint, and love to give you the opportunity to have a real life creation from Seri's own hands.

Each Mooshroom is slightly different from all the rest - while they may look similar, care has been taken to make subtle changes in marking and mushroom placement between the various mooshrooms, so that the one that you adopt is 100% unique and the only one-of-its-kind in the entire world.

To go with that unique, one-of-a-kind Mooshroom is an Official Certificate of Adoption from the Zoodesia Zoological Society that is stamped with the Mooshroom's adoption number. You'll know that you are the only owner of Mooshroom #3 in the entire world - and you'll go down in our Mooshroom Wildlife Park records as the adoptive owner of that Mooshroom for all time!

Each time a Mooshroom is adopted out a picture is taken of it to be added to the Mooshroom Wildlife Park records - and, in our Minecraft world of Zoodesia, a new Mooshroom is added to the Mooshroom Island to be given a name that you pick. As time goes on and more people adopt Mooshrooms, the Mooshroom Island will grow to directly reflect the support of the community and the size of the unique club of Mooshroom owners in the world!

Please note there is a shipping fee to send you the Mooshroom if you are outside the United States, but we strive to keep it as low as possible! If you are outside of the United States let us know and we will quote you the shipping fee ASAP!
