Milestone Goals
The Gift that Keeps on Giving
$200 per month
Help me reach my first goal of $200 on Patreon. I'm a huge fan of Contests! I love giving people the opportunity to receive pieces of my work if purchasing it is out of the question. With $200 a month I could afford to send out "Thank You" prints and rewards to contest participants and create awesome Prizes for Winners. Shipping is the Killer here, so the $200 would go towards shipping and material costs. I've always paid for these contests out of pocket and am still in the process of sending out "Thank You" prints from a contest I held last year. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Radder, Faster... More Adequate!
$650 per month
Life as an independent artist can be difficult at times and I often find myself at the mercy of the holiday seasons. luckily I keep my bills low and affordable. With Pledges amounting up to $650 I can cover my living expense and dive hard into my work. I want to make more life-size sculptures!

About

I create these Dark, Chubby yet lanky “Shadow” beings that follow people around and try to interact and walk among them. The Shadows choose from various over-worn, stressed and cracked masks that they utilize to hide their dark expressionless faces.

My work is self-reflective, referencing the various situations, feelings and thoughts I’ve had over the years. I use the Shadows to represent various aspects of my personality. Whether as an 8 year old or 27 year old, I have always felt the need to fit it in, even if it meant laughing at a terrible joke or pretending I understood what someone was talking about. I always felt like I was a follower and that I would change face depending on whom I was with in order to fit in.

Whether the medium is Ceramic, Paint or Polymer Clay, I use each mask on the Shadows to represent someone or something I’ve pretended to be in order to fit in or cope with certain social situations. The reason I chose the term Shadow to describe these beings is because of the shadow’s nature to be shaped by the object from which it is being cast. In psychology, Carl Jung describes the Shadow as the least desirable aspects of our personality that we repress and choose not to recognize. It’s been my goal to try and give these ideas a tangible form.

Helloooooo Everyone!
I'm Shadoe Wolf Delgado. I know what you're thinking, and yes, my parents were hippies. I'm a creator who makes sculptures of all sorts, paints here and there and dabbles in any other medium from time to time. Nothing is off limits! I like to make these Chubby yet lanky “Shadow” creatures. The Shadows often choose from various over-worn, stressed and cracked masks that they utilize to walk among and interact with others. Me in a nutshell.

I'm starting to make a living of it :) My business is starting to take off and it's still a little shaky. This is why I started a Patreon, to ask for your help and support!

By Pledging to my Patreon you will be helping me take my business of making creatures and things to a new level. If this takes off and sufficient pledges are received I can start producing bigger projects such as toy mini series, gain a presence at some of the larger art and toy conventions, large print releases, original toy and sculpture projects, and potentially kill my student loan debt! Most of all I hope to use Patreon as a means of supplementing my art business and helping it reach the point of viability. Once my business reaches this point my Patreon will turn into a monthly subscription service and means of providing you with more, bad-assier exclusive art!

What is Patreon?
Patreon is like an ongoing Kickstarter in that it allows an established audience of supporters to support artists and projects. However, instead of pledging one lump sum for one large project like Kickstarter, Patreon's pledges are recurring, smaller donations to help your favorite artists continue to bring you the art you enjoy. Your Pledge can be from $1 to however many dollhairs you want and in return I will show my appreciation by giving you rewards!

Rewards and the Like
By becoming a patron you are entitled to rewards determined by your monthly pledge. The rewards are a way that I can show you my appreciation for your generous support. Rewards range from access to my exclusive Patreon content not seen anywhere else, signed prints, exclusive patreon toy variants and producer credits printed on the box art of my major toy or sculpture releases.  This is also another opportunity for me to connect with you. Here I'll share my thoughts and process for my works, something I don't typically do on my other Social Media outlets. This will act as a type of blog with all kinds of behind the scenes stuff.
