Release select songs off of my very first demo EVER.
This demo is where I got my start as an artist and singer/songwriter. It isn't in print, and pretty rare (like "one copy in my closet bookshelf" kind of rare) And I"ll be releasing some of the songs to you guys only!
Professional Production Team
I want to deliver only the best to you all, and if we can stay above this amount, it'll enable me to continue working steadily with my production team that records, films, and edits my videos. And, I'll be able to release my videos more often!
About
Shani is a Los Angeles native singer/songwriter and pianist with a grassroots style of doing things. She's her own breed---a mix of Adele, Sara Bareilles, Regina Spektor, and Norah Jones --something like an Adorah Barektor. Shani graduated from USC’s Thornton School of Music in jazz piano, songwriting, composing, and went on to receive a Masters from USC in Music Education. She spends her time touring, writing music, teaching children, and performing as a featured artist at the world famous Universal Citywalk in Hollywood. She released her independent EP "Warm Rain" in 2009 and debut studio album "Merry Go Round" in 2013, and plans to release many more in the near future:)
In September, Shani was selected as the winner of the Artists in the Plus Val Garay Recording Contest, and will be recording with the legendary producer (Elton John, James Taylor, Marvin Gaye) this coming year. She was also was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2013 Unsigned Only songwriting competition, and a Regional Finalist in the 2013 Mountainstage Newsong Contest. Her song "Perfect Sky" can be heard in the new indie film Mordy to the Max, and her song “Why Did We Let Go” will soon be making its debut in the indie short film World’s Apart.
In her free time, Shani likes to do yoga, cook delicious food, and hug a tree here and there.

Hey friends!
I'm so excited to introduce to you my Patreon page, thanks for stumbling upon it! I am an artist, singer/songwriter, and music educator, and it is going to be here, for the first time ever, that I plan to combine all those things together! I will be releasing music video covers and tutorials on how to play these covers. I might throw a few original original videos into the mix too:) I hope you'll consider donating $1 (or however much you can) per music video that I release on youtube. If budget is a concern, there is an option for setting a monthly maximum when you "Become a Patron" and put in your payment information.
Why I'm Doing This:
Music is like breathing to me. The writing, playing, performing, educating, and touching people's lives is really what it's about, and what I love endlessly. I've always focused on writing originals alone in my room, and performing live, without the thought of capturing any of the music on video. A few months ago, I decided to take the leap into the Youtube world and really focus my energy on adding this visual element to my art. Sure, it's scary...everyone gets to sit back and watch your every move. But this new year is about stepping a little out of my comfort zone and not being afraid. So here we go!
What my videos will look like and where your money goes:
One of my big goals is to inspire others with music, and to help them learn how to play! Because of that, each release will include a music video cover AND a tutorial to teach you how to play that cover (so 2 videos!). Education + Entertainment :) The production of two videos per release involves time and planning, and of course a production team to help create the best possible videos. I'm hoping that with your support I'll be able to cover the production costs (i.e. filming, editing, recording, etc) for each video and continue to develop them in their quality and content.
Don't forget to scroll down to see the cool things you get for supporting. Thank you so much for become a patron of my art!

FAQ:
Can I still donate if I live outside of the U.S? Yes! You can pay in any currency and it will be automatically converted. :)
How many music videos will you release a month? 1-2 video packages every month, so 2-4 videos. And I may throw in an original song, here and there.
I don't have much money, can I still become a Patron? Yes! please only sign up to donate what you can easily afford. Even $1 per music video I upload will make a huge difference and would be greatly appreciated. :) Also, you can set a monthly maximum when you sign up so that you never donate more that you can afford.
Can I stop donating in the future if I can't afford it? Yes of course! If you can't afford to donate in the future, or you need to donate less that's absolutely fine. You can just log in to change or cancel the account whenever you want.
