Milestone Goals
The book is a go!
If that many friends and readers pledge to come on this journey, by gum, we're going to do it! I can justify taking the time to get started.
Stalking that Murderer!
Sharon gets to concentrate on the book on a regular basis, while thinking such happy thoughts about the amazing patrons who are getting this murder solved!
House Fire? What House Fire?
Sharon stops fretting about everything that's gone and starts angsting about character development and blind alleys and how bleeping hard is is to write a book and why is she doing this anyway??? She will be THRILLED.
A Series is Born! Yes!
Tristan and friends settle in to Lake Tranquility for many more adventures, and you're invited--of course
About
Sharon Linnea has written award-winning biographies of Hawaii's Princess Kaiulani and Sweden's Raoul Wallenberg, as well as Spidey Super Stories. What she really loves, though, is writing thrillers such as Chasing Eden with B.K. Sherer (St. Martin's) and murder mysteries such as These Violent Delights (Arundel), and YA such as Agent Colt Shore:Domino 29 (with Axel Avian).
She is excited to be creating a new series of murder mysteries, and sharing the ride with close friends and supporters.

Hi, I’m Sharon Linnéa, author of These Violent Delights and co-author of the Eden Thrillers.
Starting this fall, we have two kids in college, so I was going to join my husband in once again having a real job, in, say, editorial or teaching writing, or bartending.
But then we had a house fire. Yikes. Everyone, including the pets, got out all right. But suddenly we don’t have our house for 9 months or so, and my time has been about finding a dwelling, dealing with insurance, demolition, construction, basically replacing our lives.
So instead of finding a job as a bartender (or editor) with specific hours that I likely can’t keep, I decided to write a new series of murder mysteries about a bartender.
For this to work, I need your help. I need fun-loving patrons of the arts to come on this adventure with me, and make a monthly contribution to make it happen. I, and Tristan (yes, a female bartender named Tristan) will make it worth your while, I promise.
What is Patreon, anyway?
Back in the day, folks like the Medicis expressed their appreciation of the arts by becoming patrons of those who spent their days sculpting, painting, writing, composing, etc. Since not many of us have disposable millions sitting around, no matter how much we love the arts, crowd sourcing sites such as Patreon, make it possible for a group of people to each kick in $5 (or $100 or $1000) and virtually accomplish the same thing. It is a wonderful development for artists and for patrons!
For $5 a month, you can join the Fellowship of the Ring, or, of the Church Key, and keep up with the exciting ups and downs of writing a book.
But wait! Don't take my word for it. Read the first chapter by clicking these very words, and meet Tristan!
There are also fun levels at which you can be the first to meet characters, or BECOME a character, or be invited to drink-recipe creation parties, or come to the book launch. There is even a level at which you can come on a writers (or artists) retreat and work with me!
I pledge to finish the book in 6 months, so this is a 6-month commitment only. It starts on July 15, 2015 and runs through January 15, 2016
Come on along. We’ll have a great time! The world will have a new mystery heroine. And I’ll be eternally grateful.
