Hey guys! I'm a high school student well into my senior year and I'm about to high-tail it out of there soon. Here's the thing: I'm going to the Art Institute for college. My heart is so dead set on going there it hurts me to think that I might not be able to go because a) I have 0 money to pay for tuition, I'm just in the good graces of student loans and b) I'll burden my parents and myself with those student loans in the future.

Honestly, my heart is so stubbornly committed to this school, and it has been from the first day I stepped inside it on an open house. The feeling I got from touring this school is like the feeling I get when I paint, it's incredibly satisfying, but the kind of satisfying that afterwards, it feels like you need to have more and more until it's like you can't breathe without it.

Yeah, so I admit I may be a little in love with it.

Well, very much in love, actually, that I decided that I would do everything in my power to fulfill my dreams. Going to this school is just one of them, and I think if I went there and pursued my interest, I'll get to achieve more of my other dreams little by little until I have to keep up with a list of brand new dreams!

My goal for now is to get enough money to start off on my classes at AI. Which means I have this crazy goal of getting at least $2000/ month! Kinda ridiculous, but necessary.

And so here I am. I know I'll get to where I want to be if I dream it, and do it (Thanks, Shia Labeouf). I'm pretty sure I'm 50% dreams and 50% doing, which at the moment, is a pretty good thing. I know what I do want, and I know what I love, so I'm working on it harder and smarter.

Here's where you come in:

As mentioned before, I'm 100% dirt poor that it'll be such an amazing upgrade if I can buy like a bunch of cup noodles in college.

When you pledge to me, you'll be helping me with quite a lot of things. Here's pretty much what I'll use the money for:

1. Tuition. That's a given. I have student loans, but there's the other percent of the tuition that I do need to pay as I go to school, which is so high it's bonkers. When you pledge, you get to help me pay for them and my school supplies!
2. Equipment. If you're wondering what I mean, I mean better drawing tablets, maybe some refillers for the pens, and a laptop that doesn't betray me every chance it gets. I've had my tablet for quite a long time, well into my hormone driven pubescent years and into now, my still hormone driven almost-an-adult years. When I save up the money, I'll be able to get a tablet that doesn't die out on me, and maybe also get a laptop who will love me as much as I love it (my relationship with the current one isn't mutual. Do you hear me? It's NOT EVEN MUTUAL IT HURTS SAVE ME)
3. Education. Right, this kind of connects to the tuition thing, but honestly I feel like I needed to separate this from the money problem. If I pay for my tuition, I get to learn more about what I love, grow into a better artist, and achieve my dream of becoming a professional artist. By pledging to me, you'll be helping me bloom like a rose, a sunflower, or hyacinths (whatever floats your boat). I'll be able to get the education I need to take another step closer to fulfilling my goals.
4. Personal Things. Like what? Well, like groceries and rent and gas and other bills, you know the drill.
5. Experience. Experience, experience, experience. It's the mothership of all motherships. This is just as important as the tuition. We are at a time when technology is at its peak and I'm putting it to good use, it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. I use technology as a stepping stone, not as a crutch. And I'm all in for the experience. Businesses have a kink of this type of thing, they make a day out of it!

Now you're wondering, "Well, that's cool and all, but what do I get out of this?"
Other than my eternal gratitude, well, you'll be getting WIPS, process images with an in-depth tutorial of how I do things, videos, sketches...etc. It's basically just a whole bunch of stuff I've learned and are still learning, so it's still fresh info. Plus, all contents will be available first here before anywhere else! And did I mention my eternal gratitude and possibly constant declarations of undying love and loyalty?

Anyway, it would mean the world to me if you could support me in this new chapter of my life. It would be my honor to be a part of yours, and I'll be more than happy to have you be a part of mine. So, don't hesitate and come join me in my adventure!

$0 of $2,000 per month
Well, honestly, 2000 would be more than helpful! With that money I'll be able to pay my tuition (split fees with my parents), my school supplies, and my personal equipment (ex. replace my ancient Wacom and my less than reliable laptop). Paying my tuition means I can stay in school and learn about a lot of things that I hopefully will pass on to you guys through the tutorials I'll be providing! When I replace my old stuff, I can get a better tablet with better features and get a better functioning laptop so I can work more efficiently, which would be too cool I'll probably cry.
