Here is an extra Goal! I'll choose a number at random from a randomiser website from the total number of subscribed patrons. The winner will be the person who is at that number on the list of patrons in order of joining up. You can choose for me to make a video on the subject of your choice that you think will be most useful to all the others on the list! Not far to go! I'll do the draw early in the month after reaching the target.

Buy a new iMac!
My iMac is geting old! It has been powering away, creating videos for five years now and it is getting slow. A new iMac would speed up and enhance my video production and give me more time to plan better videos. I've already had one hard drive fall to bits and the screen is starting look a bit - well...!
Finish drawing my life!
This is something many people have asked me to do and there are quite a few episodes to go!
Time to visit the USA!
I have many followers in the USA, so maybe it's time I climbed aboard the Mayflower and came and visited a few of them, did some sketching and drew some American stuff!
About
I'm a children's book author and illustrator. I've written and illustrated over 180 books for major publishers and had translations worldwide. I began teaching how to draw on YouTube and now have over 100,000 subscribers. I want to teach a lot more and not feel I have to meet YouTube's entertainment needs so I'm asking for you to support me to help me make more drawing videos and create more of an online Art School than a YouTube Channel.

I'm Shoo Rayner, a children's book author and illustrator. For the past few years I've been making how to draw videos on YouTube, sharing my knowledge and skills. Now I need your help to let me continue that work and make the channel grow into something more special.My ambition is to build what amounts to an online art school for all ages and abilities, for those who can't get to an art school - for whatever reason - who need to work at their own pace, building skills and knowledge.
There will be courses teaching drawing, watercolour, illustration, cartooning, lettering, how to plan and write, and and lots, lots more.
I'll also make interview videos with other successful artists, getting their hot tips and inspiration for you.
Art School Community feeling will come through hangouts and live chats, so that you can learn from others too, just as you would if you were enrolled in a bricks and mortar establishment.
