Solidarity Rising

Hello and thank you for stopping by! Solidarity Rising is an activist network who are trying to bring together different people's and struggles to unite in the common pursuit of justice and freedom. Our current project is called Bike4westernsahara and it is our biggest challenge yet. Benjamin Ladraa and Sanna Ghotbi are biking 48.000km through 40 countries to raise awareness about the Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara. We started in may 2022 in Sweden and will arrive in Western Sahara in early 2025. We have both quit our jobs to be able to do this journey and devote all our time for the Sahrawi people. Although we’ve tried to save as much as we could before starting this trip, we’re dependent on our allies and friends to support us throughout this endeavor.
