Milestone Goals
Road trip!
This will pay for one short road trip a month to explore my creativity. Once I hit this goal I'll be taking one inspirational road trip a month to create site specific works.
Postcards and magnets
When we hit this goal, I'll start producing postcards of the Gettysburg photos, and magnets of the most memorable stanzas from my poems. And you'll each get to pick your favorite.
Make the photography book a reality
The funds raised by hitting this goal will allow me to do more research on the Gettysburg book I want to produce. In which, you all will be listed as my benefactors.
Publish
Hardback coffee table book on the history behind each of the monuments at Gettysburg National Battlefield along with my next volume of poetry.
About
I'm a poet, editor, writer, photographer, creative instigator and enabler. I also knit, spin, dye yarn, and design. Basically whatever my ADD enabled brain is intrigued by.
My first book of poems, Deep Breaths & Chocolate, was published in 2013 and my second volume is due to be released this fall. I plan to use this space to release new poems, maybe some fiction, and the occasional photgraphs, designs or drawings.
This is another in a series of experiments as I wander through this series of creative endeavors we occasionally call life.

Like most creators, I have a full time day job. Thankfully, this job offers overtime and that is how I've managed to keep my head above water for the past four years. And while I'm thankful for this, the amount of hours I have to work to pay the bills doesn't always allow for much time to write or get out to photograph, or well, you get the picture. The money from my patrons will allow me to spend a little more time creating and a little less time at the day job. I'd like to eventually support myself fully from my editing and my art, but I'm a bit pessimistic that I'll be able to achieve that. Please prove me wrong.
