Hi! We're Dave Frost and Diana Raygun but collectively we go by TGIF Arcade. We’re podcasters, writers, live streamers, raconteurs, dancers, drinkers, and weirdos. We’re all over the internet.
What do we do?
Gaming Live streams: Several times a week on Twitch, we grab a few drinks, lace up the old gaming boots, and go to town on a game that we aren’t any good at and that everyone got bored with 3 years ago. We get a little drunk and a lot silly and just goof off with a game and talk with the chat. Sometimes we do dancing game marathons until we collapse, and we still don’t stop the banter.
Writing: Diana writes haiku about pizza, butts and heartbreak and fiction about clouds, dinosaurs and killer pumpkins. You can find a lot of it at Green Tea Haiku and Fake Persona, though for 2016, every piece of prose of poetry she writes will be posted here for Patrons Only. She also makes zines out of her writing and photography.
Hosting 2 Podcasts: Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs is the podcast where we spend an hour a week talking about a 22-minute episode of television. We discuss the dystopian nature of the show’s Alternate Universe Seattle and how surprisingly gross some of our favorite characters are.
Thank God It’s Date Night is the new show where we help you design a fun romantic night around a movie. We give you a movie suggestion and how to use it to connect with someone you care about.
Why should you pledge to us?
We love doing this and we’re not going to stop any time soon. But between the streaming, the podcasts, and the writing, as well as handling social media, graphic design, website management, etc., this is close to a full time job, and the only income we get for it is from your support. The games, the equipment, the snacks, they’re all purchased out of our own pockets so we can keep doing this. And the more we do, the more rewards we can provide to you. We’re not going anywhere. We just want to give you the best content we can provide.
