I'm Tab Kimpton, I draw queer LGBT* Comics about normal people and abnormal monsters. I like things that make you laugh, punch you in the stomach with angst and then cry tears of joy.

Hi! My name is Tab Kimpton, I'm the author of the LGBT teen romance Khaos Komix as well as the currently updating Shades of A .
Khaos is a finished intertwining story about 8 teens finding themselves and each other. I've been writing comics for 8 years now and I've decided to start a Patreon to get back in touch with the fans that have kept me writing for so long.
My current project, Shades of A, is a queer retelling of a certain infamous novel. It stars Anwar, an openly Asexual dude who gets dragged to a kink night by his best friend JD. There he meets Chris Slate, an IT manager who dresses up as Vixen on the weekends, and they begin a whirlwind alternative romance. It's a tale of unconventional relationships and how to be true to yourself in a world that thinks you're a freak. There is also a cat, his name is Poof. Shades has been updating twice a week for 2 years, and has about 3 months left to go before it will be finished.
I've got lots of side comic projects floating about, from Minority Monsters to British Yaoi, with future plans for a Khaos spin off that has been in the works since Tom's Story. I'm also currently penning the script to a smutty story with the working title Gay Buttlers, which started as straight up porn (ha!) but me being me has slowly deluged into angst and gentlemen dealing with *feelings*. There's lots of things I'm excited about writing and it's my dream to be able to make that happen!
So why Patreon?
I've done kickstarters before but kickstarters happen when a project is finished- patreon is about getting fans involved in work while it is happening, so you can help me start things. Khaos used to have a massive online community of kreatures, I hope a patreon like this will help get fans together again.
What do I get for pledging?

Pledgers to the patreon can get an extra update of Shades of A per week, which will slowly speed ahead of the main comic site. That means when I start the next story, the people on here will have an exclusive preview of new work and can help me shape it.
Once a month I'll be offering a livestream for all patreon readers, the time and date voted on by the users to get the best time for everyone. This will be 3 hours long, 2 hours of drawing requests from people live on chat, with an hour in the middle for me to talk scripts of future work and to rest my hand.
For people who like pretty things you can get access to a bank of Minority Monster wallpapers (slowly growing to include all of them), and there's opportunities to get original art commissions. With kisses!
