About Nick Tarpley

My name is Nick Tarpley, I’m 23 years old and I am a Greco Roman wrestler for Team USA. I have lived in Colorado Springs to train full time at the United States Olympic Training Center for almost 7 years, moving from my hometown of Durango, Colorado.

Representing the United States in international competitions I have had some pretty big results, including recent Bronze medal matches at the Kristjan Palusalu in Tallinn, Estonia; the Grand Prix of Spain in Madrid; and the Granma Y Cerro Pelado in Havana, Cuba. In domestic competitions I am consistently one of the top contenders in the Nation.

As you could imagine, my training is intense and all consuming. I wrestle two times a day; lift 4 days a week; run 3 days a week. I have to be very careful with my weight and keep a very strict diet. I work extremely hard, and have my entire life for my Olympic dream.

But the most difficult part of this whole project is funding it all. Unfortunately, wrestlers mainly have to fund everything on their own. With the 2020 Olympics just around the corner, this is extremely important right now. Any amount of support helps, and I really appreciate your time.
