Better Lighting for Videos!
I've been dying to create umbrella lights for my videos (so they don't look as splotchy) - but they're expensive (even if you go the DIY route)
New Camera!
I've been using the same point-and-shoot camera for the last two years. It's getting old. I have my eye on a Sony NEX 5r camera for a couple weeks now. I've heard that one shoot GREAT videos.
The husband translates (and posts) comics in Japanese!
Ryosuke is working another part-time job right now and is slowly translating my comics into Japanese. If we hit $500 a month, he promises to translate and post 3 new comics in Japanese every week!
The husband translates (and posts) comics in Japanese - in REAL TIME
Ryosuke is working another part-time job right now and is slowly translating my comics into Japanese. He started with book one and is about halfway through book 2 now. He hasn't started editing the original files, though, and when he does, it will probably be pretty slow (because, you know, computers). If we hit $1000 a month, he promises to translate all my comics - as I draw them - and post them in "real time" on our Japanese blog, so people can study English/Japanese by comparing the two comics.

Hi All :)
I make things. Lots of things.
I write posts and draw comics five times a week on my blog ( Texan in Tokyo), and post videos three times a week on my YouTube channel (click here). I've also published two comics books (you can find them here).
All contributions to my Patreon go towards drawing more comics and making more videos.
